The programme supports both emerging and established filmmakers whose projects are substantially completed but require additional funding to enter or finish post-production. The fund welcomes documentary, narrative, experimental, animated and episodic projects of any length, genre or nationality. Funding Grants of up to USD 5,000 are available to support the completion of eligible film and video projects. Funding is intended specifically for completion and post-production. At least 90% of production must already be finished, and applicants must provide a full working or rough cut of the project. SAMRO Music Creation Support Fund- 2024 Amount: ZAR 25K Sign Up for Professional Support (Paid) The Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) invites musicians to apply for its Music Creation Support Fund (MCSF) worth R3million. A total of one hundred and twenty (120) Full and Associate Members of SAMRO will be awarded the grants which will allow them to work on new musical works that SAMRO hope will enable them to generate streams and audiences. The maximum grant size shall be ZAR 25 000. Eligibility The MCSF aims to contribute towards the creation of new original musical works that have not yet been published , performed publicly or broadcasted . This includes new original compositions or the completion of unpublished musical works such as EPs, albums, videos, or music scores. Full and Associate Members of SAMRO are categorised as earning members who satisfy the eligibility criteria to attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). SAMRO encourages Members from all the Provinces to submit their applications and not only around the Gauteng, Kwazulu-Natal and Western Cape Provinces.
