The Frameline Completion Fund provides financial support to filmmakers who are close to completing films that centre LGBTQ+ people and communities.
The programme supports both emerging and established filmmakers whose projects are substantially completed but require additional funding to enter or finish post-production.
The fund welcomes documentary, narrative, experimental, animated and episodic projects of any length, genre or nationality.
Funding
Grants of up to USD 5,000Â are available to support the completion of eligible film and video projects.
Funding is intended specifically for completion and post-production. At least 90% of production must already be finished, and applicants must provide a full working or rough cut of the project.

Projects may be of any length, genre or nationality, provided they focus on LGBTQ+ people and their communities.
Eligibility
Frameline particularly encourages applications from filmmakers and communities that have been historically underrepresented, including women, people of colour, transgender, intersex, asexual, nonbinary and disabled people.
Applicants must:
Be filmmakers based anywhere in the world.
Have creative and financial control of the project.
Submit a project that focuses on LGBTQ+ people and their communities.
Have completed at least 90% of production, with a full working or rough cut available.
Submit the application in English and ensure the film includes English subtitles.
Projects using AI-generated work are not eligible.
