Open Call: The OIF Writing and Co-productions Funding 2026

The Organisation internationale de la Francophonie has launched its 2026 Call for Projects, supporting the writing and (co)production of French-language creative works across publishing, live performance, and cinema-audiovisual production.


The initiative aims to strengthen international collaboration among Francophone cultural actors and expand the global visibility of French-language artistic works. Projects are encouraged to involve cross-border partnerships and demonstrate the potential to reach audiences beyond their country of origin.


Funding

Selected projects may receive grants between €7,000 and €20,000, with a total indicative budget of €130,000 available for the 2026 call.


Supported sectors

Projects may fall within one of the following areas:

  • Book and Publishing – manuscript development, co-publishing partnerships, and international distribution initiatives.

  • Live Performance – theatre, dance, and multidisciplinary stage productions involving collaborative or touring elements.

  • Cinema and Audiovisual – film production, documentary storytelling, script development, and international co-production projects.


Eligibility

The call is open to legally registered organisations based in one of the member states or governments of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie.


Applicants must have at least three years of experience in the cultural sector and must be responsible for managing the proposed project. Each organisation may submit one application.
