Open Call: The Future Generation Art Prize

Amount:

$100K

The Future Generation Art Prize recognises exceptional young artists who are pushing the boundaries of contemporary art. Founded in 2009 by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, it has grown into one of the most prominent platforms for young artists pursuing international recognition and career development.

Over the past decade, more than 100 artists have benefited through exhibitions, production funding, and global exposure. The Prize offers not just recognition, but long-term support, investing directly in the development and production of new work.

Funding

The main prize winner receives $100,000, split between a $60,000 cash award and a $40,000 investment in their artistic practice.

Up to 5 special prizes are also awarded at the jury's discretion, with a total of US$20,000 distributed to support the development of selected artists' practices.

Disciplines

The Prize is open to the full spectrum of contemporary visual arts, from painting and sculpture to video art, live performance, and interdisciplinary practice. If it pushes the boundaries of what art can be and do, it belongs here.
