
The Accelerate Africa Startup Program has opened applications for its 2026 cohort, supporting early-stage founders across the continent who are building scalable, impact-driven startups.
The programme is designed to equip African entrepreneurs with the tools, mentorship, and networks needed to refine their ideas and grow globally competitive businesses. With a strong focus on execution and investment readiness, it supports founders tackling some of Africa’s most pressing challenges.
Selected participants join a highly curated cohort, gaining hands-on support from experienced founders, investors, and operators within the African startup ecosystem.
Funding
The programme offers access to potential investment opportunities following completion.
Selected startups may receive between USD 250,000 and USD 500,000 in post-programme funding, subject to due diligence and investment approval.
Participation in the programme is equity-free, and no upfront funding is provided at the start.

Eligibility
Applications are open to founders who meet the following criteria:
Building a startup based in Africa
At an early stage of development
Have at least one co-founder
Preferably include diverse teams, with female representation encouraged
The programme is open to founders across sectors who are building scalable and impactful ventures.
