The Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant provides unrestricted financial support to exceptional working visual artists internationally. Geographic location, nationality, and country of residence are not factors in eligibility.
Grants have enabled artists to create new work, purchase materials, cover studio rent, prepare for exhibitions, attend residencies, and offset living expenses.
Funding
Unrestricted grants of up to $50,000 USDÂ are available, with the size of each grant determined by the individual circumstances of the artist.
Grants are intended for a one-year period and can be used in any way that allows an artist to meaningfully pursue their practice.
Scope and approach
The Foundation welcomes applications from professional visual artists who are painters, sculptors, and artists who work on paper, including printmakers. Artists must be actively exhibiting their current work in professional artistic venues such as galleries and museum spaces.
The Foundation does not accept applications involving commercial art, graphic art, video art, generative art, performance art, filmmaking, craft, or photography, as these fall outside its funding guidelines.
What to submit
Applications must include all of the following:
Completed application form
