Open Call: Earth Partner Prize 2026

Earth Partner exists to harness the power of creative expression and visual storytelling to advance climate action through culture. The 2026 Earth Partner Prize is an open call designed to generate conversations around the urgent need for ecological justice, with a particular focus on youth voices.


Through the prize, participants have the opportunity to showcase their work in international forums and reach global climate leaders.


Funding

The finalists will be awarded cash prizes of $10,000, $5,000, or $2,000. An additional 20 creatives will receive honourable mentions, selected by a globally recognised panel of judges.


Scope and approach

The prize welcomes work in any medium, including photography, documentary and experimental film, performance art, app development, spoken word, musical compositions, dance, fashion design, new media, and social media projects.


Submissions should respond to and create conversations around the ecological crisis and the social roots and consequences of climate change.


If a project involves the use of AI tools, even in part, this must be clearly indicated in the project description. If the project has received any awards or press coverage, this information should also be included.


Eligibility

  • Open to artists and creatives of all nationalities, races, genders, and faiths

  • Applicants must be between 14 and 30 years of age

  • Open to all creative mediums

  • Members of the global majority and underrepresented communities are especially encouraged to apply
