Call for Applications: Cisco Global Impact Cash Grants

Amount:

$100K

The Cisco Global Impact Cash Grants support nonprofit and nongovernmental organisations developing innovative, technology-driven solutions to critical social challenges affecting underserved communities.

The programme is particularly interested in early-stage solutions that can scale, be replicated and create impact beyond the communities directly served. Organisations should demonstrate a clear social need, measurable outcomes and an innovative use of technology to improve the reach or efficiency of their services.

Funding

Grant recipients can request up to $100,000 USD in funding.

Organisations begin the process by submitting a Letter of Inquiry (LOI), with eligible applicants potentially invited to submit a full application.

Scope and approach

Projects should address a significant social challenge within Cisco's social investment priorities and demonstrate a clear unmet need.

Cisco is particularly interested in programmes that:

  • Serve economically underserved communities.

  • Use technology to improve access, reach or efficiency.

  • Have potential to scale or be replicated in other communities.

  • Use measurable outcomes to demonstrate impact.

  • Have a sustainable long-term model.

Eligibility

Applications are open to nonprofit and nongovernmental organisations worldwide.

Eligible organisations must have national or multinational operations and serve a population that is at least 65% economically underserved.

Organisational overhead costs must not exceed 25%, and the proposed programme must make significant and innovative use of technology.

Cisco generally does not fund the purchase of standard computer hardware or software unless there is a compelling strategic reason and other cost-effective options have been explored.
