
The Cartier Women’s Initiative has opened applications for its 2027 Regional Awards, supporting women-led businesses creating positive social and environmental impact through entrepreneurship.
The programme recognises women impact entrepreneurs from around the world who are using business as a force for good, while building innovative and financially sustainable enterprises across sectors and industries.
Founded in 2006, the Cartier Women’s Initiative has become one of the leading global entrepreneurship programmes supporting women founders driving solutions linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Funding
The programme awards grant funding to the top three fellows selected from each of the nine global regions:
First-place awardees receive USD 100,000
Second-place awardees receive USD 60,000
Third-place awardees receive USD 30,000
In addition to financial support, selected fellows gain access to international visibility and recognition, business development support, strategic mentorship and networking opportunities and a global community of impact-driven entrepreneurs.
Programme focus
The Regional Awards support women-led businesses that:
-Create measurable social or environmental impact
-Demonstrate innovation and scalability
-Contribute to inclusive and sustainable economic development
-Address global challenges through entrepreneurship
The initiative is open to businesses across all sectors and regions worldwide.
Eligibility
Applicants must identify as women and hold a senior leadership role within the business, such as founder, CEO, COO, CTO, or Managing Director
The business must be for-profit and impact-driven
The business must have generated annual revenue between USD 50,000 and USD 5 million in its most recent fiscal year
The business must employ between 5 and 250 employees or contractors
The business must not have raised more than USD 2 million in dilutive funding
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and demonstrate proficiency in English
The business must be independently owned and majority controlled by its founders and team members
Applications from women entrepreneurs with disabilities are encouraged.
